While working for the Peace Corps in the 60’s, Mike and Ann Moore made an amazing discovery… African babies rarely cried when carried on their mother’s backs. When the Moores later had daughters of their own, Ann created a soft baby carrier that would keep her baby close, comfortable and remarkably quiet. Everyone marveled over Ann’s invention. By the mid 70’s, what began as a specialty item for family and friends, became the famous “Original Baby Carrier”. You may have ridden in one yourself.
The Moores, now grandparents, were encouraged to update their original baby carrier for today’s active parents. The inspired result is the Weego Baby Carrier.
